These valuable results have and will continue to play a vital role in how we shape the Developer Program and developer site for your needs moving forward.
As we bid adieu (or good riddance) to 2020 we here at the ServiceNow Developer Program wanted to highlight our top 10 pieces of content from 2020. In order of oldest to most recent, here they are:
Blog: Source Control and CI/CD Resources - The Orlando release brought some major enhancements to ServiceNow’s source control integration and added some CI/CD capabilities in the form of automated testing and deployment APIs and IntegrationHub spokes.
What is a Developer Advocate? Our job as developer advocates is to help make ServiceNow developers as successful as possible building and developing on the Now Platform. We do that by enabling developers, fostering community, and advocating on behalf of ServiceNow developers to our internal product and development teams to make the Now Platform better for developers. We are your voice to our internal teams.

G’day and welcome! My name is Andrew Albury-Dor, and I’ve been invited by Andrew and Brad to “Have the honor of contributing to the ServiceNow Developer Blog” (Really, they want more content, I know your tricks!). If you haven’t heard of me, I’m one of the 2020 Developer MVPs , and I’m very excited to be here!
To introduce myself, I work for Auto & General Insurance in Brisbane, Australia, and have been developing on the ServiceNow platform for about four years.
The ServiceNow Developer Program sponsors and helps build engagement and community through the 60+ global Developer Meetups.
The meetups are still occuring in an online setting. Now, it is easier than ever to connect with developers from your area and around the world. No commuting necessary.
Find a meetup near you to join the events remotely now, and then once we are back to having in person events you can join in.
Do no Harm I am going to share some fun things I have used to entertain co-workers. These are meant to be fun and should be used in that spirit.
Which type of easter egg The first step is to decide what sort of exciting thing you will add to the system. Things like the Konami Code in Service Portal is a great easter egg you can have any time.
The teaser is no longer needed. The new site is here! The site has been rebuilt to be streamlined and personalized so you can get the information you are seeking faster, and take the actions you need quicker. In addition to all the existing content, the site has introduced content for developers and designers to leverage the new Now Experience UI Framework and Design System. Most of the site is now built from the ground up with the tools provided in the UI Framework.
Changes are coming to the Developer Site - Don’t Panic! Hello, fellow ServiceNow Developers!
Grab your towels and get ready! In a few weeks, you will notice a completely new user experience on the Developer Site. After five years, we figured it was time for an update. We have made considerable changes to the site while maintaining our core values: the site is useful and is easy to use. Once the redesign of the site is launched, we will have a follow-up blog post that walks you through the changes in detail so you can instantly take advantage of the site.
We are pleased to announce a brand new program, ServiceNow Developer MVPs. The MVPs are a collection of ServiceNow community members that are passionate about ServiceNow and share their extensive knowledge freely to help and encourage developers of all skill levels and types. They write blogs, share apps, craft videos, live-stream, contribute to social media, give talks, lead Developer Meetups, answer questions on the community forum and slack all to share and give back to this great community.
