*And yes, that title WAS meant to rhyme! * Before we all rush out the door to enjoy Thanksgiving, I wanted to put out a brief reminder. One of the benefits of moving App Engine Studio and App Engine Management Center to the ServiceNow store, is that it allows the product team to make upgrades agnostic of the standard 6-month cycle or patch updates.
However, the downside is that there isn’t a lot of fanfare when this happens like for a release.
As many long time listeners know, I’ve always been fascinated by integrations. It’s a way to make one plus one equal 100 when it comes to driving value from our systems. In this episode, we’ll find out what’s new in our Tokyo release when it comes to Integration Hub.

Since its debut in the Quebec release, ServiceNow’s App Engine Studio has grown significantly in scope and magnitude. Not only has it taken legacy capabilities and refined them, like the Table and Catalog Builders, but has continuously added new players to the game, like Templates and usage of the Instance Pipeline for deployment.

Story time As some of you know, I was not always in tech. For the first five years of my career after school, I was working in student affairs and student housing at a university. Right before I joined my first tech-related job, my first dive into automation was when I worked as a contract manager. Yep, that’s right, my plunge into tech started with the automation of my day-to-day Excel spreadsheets.
