Next Experience UI One of the biggest changes in the San Diego release is the Next Experience UI. Thanks to Dhruv Gupta and Phil Swann for pointing me to a scripting API called HistoryWalker. In short, it allows you to move through the version history of a record. It does this by using the audit/history tables to generate a historical record. Let’s say your record has been saved seven times (see the field sys_mod_count); you can use this API to get a copy of the GlideRecord from any version of the updates along the way.

Soon, the 2022 Developer MVP cohort will be revealed but before we get there, we asked our 2021 Developer MVPs to share some New Year wisdom. Advice Earl: Your biggest advocate should always be you**: maintain that portfolio, speak well of yourself, make the best choices for you. A company is always watching out for itself, you should always be watching out for yourself/your family. Chuck: Find a personal project to digitize/automate some project of your own.
