Congratulations to Team Volteoans! Yesterday we showed the finals of the CreatorCon Hackathon and announced that Team Volteoans won with their app Clinical Care Management (EMR). The hackathon team would like to thank everyone for participating in the weekend-long hackathon. We had over 220 people across 50 teams submit applications by the end of the weekend and had some really impressive and innovative apps submitted. Choosing the five category winners and the grand prize winner was very difficult for our judging teams.
CreatorCon 2020 Virtual Hackathon Streaming Doing a virtual hackathon means that more people across the world can participate, which we’re really excited about. The downside is that we’re not all in a room together. While teams will be collaborating internally with each other and we have the hackathon community forum, we wanted to do something else to create some community and camaraderie.
We’re excited to announce that in addition to the special Hackathon version of Live Coding Happy Hour on Friday, May 1 at 4 PM EDT, we’re going to be doing two more Livestream Hackathon Shows over the weekend streaming live on YouTube and Twitch.
We are excited to announce prizes for the CreatorCon 2020 Virtual Hackathon! The Grand Prize winning team will receive $5,000 in Visa gift cards distributed evenly across team members and the four second-place teams will each receive $500 Visa gift cards for a total of $7,000 in prizes. Announcing the CreatorCon 2020 Virtual Hackathon Join the CreatorCon Hackathon virtually. Teams of all types will go head-to-head in a weekend-long quest for fun, prizes, and glory. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and build apps that solve real business problems. Submitted applications should address a problem space in one of the following categories: healthcare, telecom, manufacturing, banking, and social good.
It is with joy and regret that Knowledge19 is over. Thousands of attendees, partners, and staff descended upon Las Vegas to attend the hundreds of breakouts, labs, and workshops. I am going to share a few of my thoughts about the event.

Guide to Knowledge So, Knowledge conference. Having attended five prior events and leveraging the help and aid of those with even more experience, I will offer tips for getting the most out of the event. Fifteen conferences have come before. 2019 will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada with nearly 18,000 in attendance. CreatorCon which is in its 4th year will have 6,000 developers. This conference inside the conference will be a large part of any developers experience at the event.
