IntegrationHub week is still going strong! The last two new Paris related features I will highlight on the blog will be the Payload Builder API and the JSON Parser action step.
JSON Parser Building and extending spokes is one of my current favorite things to develop. One of the most common parts of integration is handling the response. Introduced in the New York release was the XML Parser step. With the Paris release, the other main format, JSON, is handled with the JSON parser step.

VS Code Extension Six months after initial release, the ServiceNow Extensions for Visual Studio Code has reached version 1.4. This milestone is significant in that several incremental changes have added up an improved experience. I will include the release notes below and highlight several of the improvements directly. Things are different 2020 has made many things different. A big part of the developer program’s focus every year is helping ensure high-quality content is available for developers at the Knowledge conference. We create our talks and workshops and review others in service to that effort. CreatorCon 2020 Virtual Hackathon Streaming Doing a virtual hackathon means that more people across the world can participate, which we’re really excited about. The downside is that we’re not all in a room together. While teams will be collaborating internally with each other and we have the hackathon community forum, we wanted to do something else to create some community and camaraderie.
We’re excited to announce that in addition to the special Hackathon version of Live Coding Happy Hour on Friday, May 1 at 4 PM EDT, we’re going to be doing two more Livestream Hackathon Shows over the weekend streaming live on YouTube and Twitch.
